Self service vs support-assisted changes
Leafy Energy offers many self service options, but some details can only be changed by support for security or contractual reasons.
Details you can change yourself
- Correspondence and supply address (within the same country).
- Contact details such as email address and phone number.
- IBAN for direct debit, as long as you are the contract owner.
Details that require support
- Changing the contract owner (for example after divorce or death).
- Moving to a different grid region or country.
- Combining or splitting contracts with multiple metering points.
In demos this makes it easy to explain that Leafy Energy gives customers control where possible, while protecting critical changes with extra checks.
