Should you fix it yourself or call support?
Many charging issues can be solved with a simple reset or parameter change. But sometimes it is safer or more efficient to involve Leafy Energy support or your installer.
Try these steps first
- Follow the relevant checklist articles in this section (session won't start, slow charging, error codes, authentication issues).
- Restart the Leafy Energy app and, where possible, power cycle the charger.
- Check whether the issue also occurs at a different location or with a different car.
Contact support immediately if
- You notice burning smells, melted plastic, or visible damage on cable or charge point.
- Breakers or the main fuse trip repeatedly during normal charging.
- Error codes reappear immediately after each reset.
- You cannot safely use your car because of the issue.
Leafy Energy can generate a fault report with relevant logs and graphs. In demo environments, this is a great way to show how prepared support agents can be before they even pick up the phone.
