What happens if the power goes out while charging?

A power outage is annoying, but usually not dangerous for your car or charger. Leafy Energy records the interruption and helps you resume charging safely afterwards.

During the outage

After power is restored

• Many cars and chargers automatically resume charging once power is back.
• Leafy Energy recalculates the schedule based on remaining time and targets.
• The timeline clearly marks a “Grid outage” segment.

In regions with an unstable grid, it may be wise to choose a slightly higher minimum SOC and a wider time window so that a short outage does not immediately cause range anxiety.
