Charging session won't start – what now?
You plug in the cable, some LEDs blink... and then nothing. No charging current, no progress. This checklist walks you through the most common causes.
Step 1: Check the basics
- Is the car in Park (P) with the parking brake engaged?
- Is the cable firmly connected to both the car and the charger?
- Is the charger not clearly offline (red LED, error on the display)?
Step 2: Check Leafy Energy settings
- Open the app and check if an active schedule is set to start later.
- See if any price limit is configured that could be blocking charging right now.
- Verify that the correct car is linked to this specific charger.
Step 3: Rule out car-specific issues
- If possible, try the same car on a different charger.
- Try another car on the same charger.
In Leafy Energy's analysis view you can see if the system deliberately postponed charging (for example due to price) or if the charger itself refused the session.
