Paying by credit card: when does it make sense?

In the Leafy Energy demo you can also use credit card payments. This is useful for customers who prefer to manage energy costs as business expenses or collect points or cashback.

Adding a credit card

1. Open the portal and go to Billing & payments.
2. Select “Add payment method”.
3. Choose Credit card and enter your card details.

Combined with dynamic tariffs

• Monthly amounts may vary, but your credit card statement aggregates all charges.
• Business customers can easily export monthly or per-location costs.

In demos you can compare a customer who pays via direct debit to one who pays all invoices via credit card.
