Common causes of failed direct debit
- Insufficient funds on your account.
- Bank-imposed limits on direct debit.
- Outdated IBAN details.
What does Leafy Energy do?
- You receive a notification in the app and by email.
- We offer the option to retry direct debit or pay manually.
- Only after repeated failures is your account marked as “overdue”.
In demos you can show how a failed direct debit is followed by a quick online payment that immediately clears the balance.
