“Do I need to fully discharge my battery sometimes?”
No. Modern batteries do not suffer from the old “memory effect”. Frequently draining to 0% can actually shorten their lifetime.
“How often should my battery be inspected?”
An annual visual inspection is usually enough, combined with Leafy Energy’s automated health monitoring.
“Are home batteries a fire risk?”
Installed and used correctly, the risk is low. Follow the safety guidelines and ensure proper placement and ventilation.
“Can I stack boxes or other items on the battery?”
It is better not to. Keep enough clearance around the battery so heat can dissipate and the enclosure remains visible.
“What does Leafy Energy do when something goes wrong?”
The system shows warnings, records relevant logs, and guides you to contact an installer or support. In some cases the battery can automatically switch into a safe mode.
