Yearly maintenance: a simple checklist

Your home battery needs little maintenance, but a yearly check helps you spot issues early. Leafy Energy lets you schedule this checklist as a reminder.

Visual inspection (once a year)

• Check the enclosure for damage, dents, or discolouration.
• Look for dust build-up, spider webs, or blocked ventilation openings.
• Verify that cables are firmly connected and not pinched or sharply bent.

Digital check in the app

• Open the Maintenance overview in Leafy Energy.
• Review the State of Health (SoH) trend over the past year.
• Look for recurring error codes or warnings that require attention.

When to call a professional

• If you see visible damage to the enclosure, cables, or terminals.
• If error messages keep returning even after a reset.
• If your SoH drops much faster than expected within a few years.
