What does State of Health (SoH) mean and how to read it in the app?

State of Health: your battery’s condition score

State of Health (SoH) indicates how much capacity your battery still has compared to its original factory rating.

How is SoH shown?

• In Leafy Energy you see SoH as a percentage, for example 96% or 88%.
• New batteries start close to 100%; over time this slowly declines.

What is normal?

• A moderate drop in the first few years is normal.
• Leafy Energy colours SoH green, orange, or red depending on expected remaining lifetime.

What to do if SoH is low?

• Check if your strategy is very aggressive (many full cycles per day).
• Adjust profile settings to reduce deep cycling.
• Contact your installer if you see sudden, steep drops.

The app includes a SoH trend graph over multiple years. In demos you can show different fictional curves (careful vs heavy usage) to illustrate the impact of behaviour.
