Staying up to date with firmware updates

Just like your phone, your battery regularly receives firmware updates. These fix bugs, improve safety, and sometimes add new features.

Types of updates

• Silent updates: minor improvements rolled out automatically in the background.
• Manual updates: larger changes that require your explicit approval.

Remote monitoring

• With your consent, Leafy Energy can share diagnostic data and statistics with certified partners.
• For recurring issues, an installer can analyse your system remotely before scheduling a site visit.

Managing updates in the app

In the Updates & Monitoring menu you can see current versions, upcoming updates, and whether remote monitoring is enabled. In demos this is a nice moment to show how easy it is to schedule an update outside peak hours.
