Using dynamic hourly prices as control signals
Leafy Energy fetches day-ahead prices and uses them to plan smart charging. You no longer need to scan price tables manually.
How does it work?
- Prices for the next 24–48 hours are retrieved.
- Leafy Energy searches for the cheapest hours within your configured windows.
- The battery is scheduled to charge in those hours.
Configuration options
- Set a minimum savings threshold, e.g. only charge below a certain price level.
- Limit the number of charging hours per night to avoid unnecessary wear.
- Combine with your comfort profile (for example: avoid charging in light-sleep hours if the battery makes noise).
In demo sessions, show the price chart alongside planned charge blocks so users can literally see how the algorithm chooses.
