Corrections on your annual statement: when and why?

When something needs to be fixed afterwards

Sometimes data must be adjusted after the fact, for example because your grid operator provides updated meter readings. Leafy Energy processes this through corrections.

Typical examples

• Your smart meter was unreachable for a certain period.
• A measurement configuration error was discovered later.
• Export readings from solar panels were updated.

What does a correction look like?

• You receive a correction invoice or an updated annual statement.
• The detailed view shows which period and how many kWh are affected.
• The difference from the previously billed situation is charged or credited.

In demos you can show a small correction (for example a few hundred kWh) so that staff can practise explaining this calmly to customers.
