Charge points and home batteries are designed and tested by professionals, but their placement and everyday use also influence fire safety.

General points of attention

• Do not store flammable materials (boxes, paper, textiles) directly against chargers or battery cabinets.
• Keep enough space around equipment for ventilation and inspection.
• Have cabling installed neatly and without tight bends or kinks.

Choosing a location

• Always follow the recommendations from the OEM and installer.
• Insurance companies or local regulations may impose additional requirements.
• Do not relocate chargers or batteries yourself.
