Leafy Energy lets your home switch between comfort mode and savings mode. In comfort mode, comfort dominates; in savings mode, the system responds more aggressively to price movements.

What changes between modes?

• Allowed temperature bands become wider in savings mode.
• More devices are postponed into cheaper hour blocks.
• The “everything-off emergency brake” kicks in at lower price levels.

How to switch modes

• Using a toggle in the Leafy app (“I want to save” / “I want comfort”).
• Through a virtual switch in Home Assistant or Homey.
• Automatically, for example savings mode on weekdays and comfort mode at weekends.

In demos, this is a great storytelling element: the same home, two energy personalities, two very different graphs – yet similar comfort perceived by the occupants.
