FAQ: supported cars and charge points
This article answers short questions about support for cars, charge points, and wallboxes in Leafy Energy.
“My car is not on the list, what now?”
Select the “Generic” brand and add your car in basic mode. You can still create schedules based on time and charger.
“Can Leafy Energy connect to my company lease car?”
It depends on the OEM and your account rights. In some cases you need permission from your leasing company or employer.
“Does Leafy Energy work with any charger?”
Not every charger, but many more than you might expect. OCPP-compatible chargers usually work well. The app will show compatibility for your model.
“What happens if I move my charger to a different location?”
You can change the location in the app. Leafy Energy uses this information, for example, to distinguish between home and workplace sessions.
“Can I link a mobile ‘granny charger’?”
Only if it appears as a separate device in your home automation or smart plug system. In that case you can add it as a “simple charger”.
