Connecting a new car to Leafy Energy

Adding your first Leafy Energy car

When you get a new EV, you can connect it to Leafy Energy in just a few steps. Depending on the brand, you use your OEM account or link only the charge point.

Step-by-step

1. Open the app and go to Settings > Cars & chargers.
2. Tap “Add a new car”.
3. Select your brand and model.
4. Follow the instructions:
   • For cloud integrations: sign in with your OEM account and grant Leafy Energy access.
   • For charger-based setups: select the charger this car usually uses.

What happens next?

• Leafy Energy syncs basic data: name, model, battery capacity.
• You can immediately pick a charging profile (for example “Weekdays ready by 07:00”).
• A dedicated tile for the car appears on the dashboard.

In demos this is often the first “wow moment”: the system recognises the car, knows its battery size, and suggests an intelligent schedule right away.
