Leafy Energy integrates with a wide range of charge points, wallboxes, and some mobile chargers. The type of integration determines which features we can offer, such as smart scheduling, load balancing, and locking.

Key protocols

• OCPP (1.6 / 2.0.x): used by many public and some home chargers.
• Proprietary APIs: brand-specific cloud platforms.
• Local integration: through a gateway or home automation platform like Home Assistant.

In the Leafy Energy app, each charger clearly shows which features are available using simple labels like “Smart charging”, “Peak protect”, or “Basic only”. This makes it easy to explain differences in demos.
