Disconnecting your smart meter

Sometimes you may want to temporarily stop sharing data, for example when moving house or during renovations. Leafy Energy lets you disconnect a meter easily.

Disconnecting in the portal

• Open Meter & connections.
• Select the relevant supply point.
• Click Disconnect and confirm your choice.

From that moment, Leafy Energy stops retrieving new data. Existing historical data remains visible unless you explicitly request deletion.

Reconnecting

• Follow the same steps as described in “Connecting your smart meter”.
• Make sure remote reading permission with your grid operator is still active.
