Your smart meter provides detailed information about your energy usage. It’s natural to ask how Leafy Energy handles that data.

Which data do we process?

• Hourly or quarter-hourly consumption values (and feed-in where applicable).
• Basic connection details (e.g. EAN code, connection type).

What do we not do?

• We do not sell smart meter data to third parties.
• We do not use it for personalised advertising outside of Leafy Energy.

Security measures

• Encrypted connections for all data flows.
• Strict access control within our systems.
• Logging and monitoring of suspicious activities.

In the Leafy Energy privacy centre, the demo lets you simulate data access and download requests to show how transparent we are about data usage.
