Common error messages
Running into an error message while connecting your smart meter? This article explains the most common cases in Leafy Energy.
“Meter not found”
- Double-check your postcode, house number, and any suffix.
- Make sure the EAN code is entered correctly (no spaces).
“No permission to read meter”
- Your grid operator may have disabled remote reading.
- Log into your grid operator’s portal and enable remote reading.
“Connection pending” stuck
- In some cases, the grid operator manually approves connections.
- Contact Leafy Energy support if the status doesn’t change for more than 48 hours.
Using the error code in the message, Leafy Energy support can quickly identify the root cause and, if needed, coordinate with the grid operator.
