Contract duration and notice periods

Leafy Energy is designed to be flexible. Many customers no longer want to be locked into long-term contracts with opaque conditions.

Contract length

• In this demo we assume an open-ended contract.
• Your tariffs are dynamic and change daily with the market.

Notice period

• For demo purposes, we use a notice period of 30 days.
• You can cancel entirely online via the Leafy Energy portal.

Switching to another supplier

If you switch to another supplier, your Leafy Energy contract ends automatically on the date the new supplier starts, taking the notice period into account.

In a real production setting, exact rules differ per country, regulator, and connection type, but the user experience remains similar.
