You don’t have to transform your entire home at once. A quick scan helps you pick the first devices that really make a difference.

Step 1: identify major consumers

• EV charger or wallbox
• Electric boiler or heat pump
• Washing machine and dryer
• Dishwasher

Step 2: check integration options

• If you use Home Assistant or Homey, see whether integrations exist for your devices.
• In the Leafy Energy docs, check which entities we expose (such as current price, cheapest hours, usage status).

Step 3: build one simple flow

• Create a simple automation, for example: “Only start the washing machine when the price drops below X €/kWh”.
• Test for a week to see how it affects your usage and comfort.

If you like the result, you can add one or two more devices to your smart strategy in the following months.
