How often do prices change?

Leafy Energy uses hourly tariffs, but that doesn’t mean you are surprised every hour by something new.

Day-ahead prices

• Prices for the next day are usually published in the afternoon or evening.
• From that moment you can see tomorrow’s hourly prices in our app.

During the day itself

• The hourly prices are fixed; they typically do not change anymore.
• Only in special scenarios, such as imbalance corrections, can adjustments appear afterwards (which we explain on your invoices).

In the app you see both the current price and the expected prices for the coming hours, making it easy to plan ahead.
