Your first smart charging schedule
If you drive an EV, your charging behaviour is one of the biggest levers you can pull in your first month. Smart charging can easily save you tens of euros per month.
Basic settings for a schedule
- Set a departure time (e.g. every workday at 07:30).
- Choose a minimum state of charge (e.g. at least 40% as a safety buffer).
- Let Leafy Energy or your charger pick the cheapest hours within those constraints.
Tips for the first month
- Start with a conservative schedule and monitor the results.
- After a few weeks, check your average price per kWh during charging sessions.
- Then fine-tune your thresholds for even better optimisation.
