Day 1: a quick account check
Congratulations, you’ve switched to Leafy Energy! On day one the goal is simply to verify that everything is set up correctly so the rest of the month runs smoothly.
What should you verify?
- Account details: is your name, address, and contact information correct in the portal?
- IBAN and payment method: is the right bank account configured for direct debit?
- Language settings: pick Dutch or English (and switch whenever you like).
- Start date: does your displayed start date match the email confirmation?
What can you already set up?
- Enable price notifications for high or low tariffs.
- Turn on two-factor authentication to boost security.
- If you’re a business customer, create colleague logins with the right roles.
Once these basics are right, you can spend the rest of the month optimising your consumption instead of fixing admin issues.
