If you have a home battery, Leafy Energy can control the EV and battery together. For example, the battery charges earlier so your car can charge at higher power later in expensive hours without increasing grid load.

Typical strategies

• Price strategy: both battery and car charge in the cheapest hours.
• Grid strategy: the battery absorbs peaks while the car charges at a flatter rate.
• Backup strategy: a reserved battery percentage is kept for backup power.

Example scenario

On a winter evening, Leafy Energy might fill the battery during sunny daytime, charge the car in the very cheapest night hours, and run the house mainly from the battery during the expensive evening peak.
