Is your plug-in battery working as intended?

Once installed, you want to be sure your plug-in battery charges, discharges, and shows up correctly in Leafy Energy.

Step 1: Test basic behaviour

• Fully charge the battery according to the on-device indicator.
• Disconnect mains power and verify that your connected devices keep running.

Step 2: Verify in Leafy Energy

• Open the battery dashboard and compare the status LEDs with the state of charge shown in the app.
• Check whether power spikes are visible when switching on a heavy load.

Step 3: Test high/low price reactions

• Configure a simple rule in Leafy Energy: charge during cheap hours, discharge during expensive hours.
• Verify that the battery responds within the expected timeframe.
