Using outlets and circuits safely

A plug-in battery looks simple (“just plug it in”), but significant currents can still be involved. Leafy Energy therefore also provides guidance on safe connection points.

Outlets

• Use only grounded, well-maintained outlets.
• Avoid old, loose, or discoloured outlets and multi-plugs.
• Prefer a fixed wall outlet over cheap power strips.

Circuits in the fuse box

• Avoid stacking multiple heavy loads and a plug-in battery on the same circuit.
• If in doubt, have an electrician review your circuit load.
