Balancing certainty and flexibility

With Leafy Energy you choose how “tight” your deposit should be. Some customers prefer maximum predictability, others choose lower deposits and accept the risk of a final payment.

Setting your deposit

1. Open the app and go to Billing & deposits.
2. Review the projection chart for the next 12 months.
3. Use the slider to adjust your monthly deposit.
4. Decide whether you prefer a higher chance of a refund or of an extra payment.

Example profiles

• Conservative: rather overpay slightly and receive a refund later.
• Neutral: deposit as close as possible to the forecast.
• Adventurous: lower deposit, accepting the risk of a top-up payment.
