Avoiding double charges
Nobody wants a period where two suppliers both charge for the same connection. Fortunately this can usually be prevented.
Tips to avoid overlap
- Enter the correct switch date when signing up with Leafy Energy (ideally right after your current contract ends).
- Check your old invoices to see up to which date your current supplier charges you.
- Watch for letters or emails from your supplier confirming the termination date.
If you do see a period with double billing, create a ticket with Leafy Energy and attach copies of your previous invoices. We will review your case and, if needed, coordinate with the grid operator to see whether an administrative correction is required.
