When your schedule behaves differently than you expect

Sometimes a schedule looks different from what you intuitively expect. This article walks you through the main reasons Leafy Energy might make surprising choices.

Checklist

1. Check the departure time: is the configured time still correct?
2. Review the minimum SOC: is it higher than you thought?
3. Check your profile: is it set to Comfort instead of Savings?
4. Look at price and CO2 preferences: are they pushing charging into unusual hours?
5. Review failsafes: are there messages showing that a failsafe kicked in?

Analysis tab

The analysis tab explains in plain language why charging occurred in specific hours. For example: “Charging started despite high prices because otherwise the minimum SOC would not be reached.”

In demos, you can intentionally create a “confusing” situation and then show how the analysis tab clearly explains the system’s choices.
