What is a charging schedule in Leafy Energy?
A charging schedule defines when your car is allowed to charge, how much freedom Leafy Energy has to move things around, and which goal must be reached (for example a certain state of charge before departure).
Building blocks of a schedule
- Time window: when is the car plugged in?
- Target: minimum or desired state of charge (SOC) at a given time.
- Profile: how strongly do you value price, comfort, and CO2?
Difference between profile and schedule
- The schedule is about timing and constraints.
- The profile describes behaviour: price-focused, comfort-focused, or eco-focused.
In the Leafy Energy app, schedules are shown as coloured blocks on a timeline and profiles as labels such as “Savings”, “Comfort”, or “Eco+”. In demos you can easily switch between profiles and immediately show their impact on the plan.
