Hour, day, and month views: how to read your charts

The different timescales in your charts

Leafy Energy shows your usage and costs at several timescales. Each one tells a different part of the story.

Hourly view

• Shows usage and cost curves for a single day, broken down per hour.
• Perfect to see the impact of a specific device or charging session.
• With dynamic prices, peaks and troughs become visible at hourly granularity.

Daily view

• Displays daily totals over 7, 14, or 30 days.
• Reveals trends such as “weekends are lower than weekdays” or “Sunday is cooking day”.

Monthly view

• Useful for billing, budgeting, and year-on-year comparisons.
• Combines consumption, total costs, and average price per kWh in a single picture.

A handy rule of thumb: zoom into the hourly view for behaviour and automations; zoom out to daily or monthly for budgeting and long-term decisions.
