Dynamic energy and smart control come with a few persistent myths. Let’s clear up some of the most common ones.

“I’ll need to watch charts all day”

Not at all. You can set a few basic rules (“charge my car between 00:00 and 07:00”, or “heat the boiler when the price drops below X ct/kWh”) and automations will do the rest.

“Dynamic tariffs are always more risky”

Prices do fluctuate more, but you also get the opportunity to benefit from very low prices. With smart devices and batteries you can avoid peaks and take advantage of dips.

“This is only for power users”

We design Leafy Energy so that the tech runs under the hood. Power users can play with APIs and automations, but most customers just use the app and a few simple scenarios.
