Even though Leafy Energy is fictional, the demo illustrates privacy-by-design principles. That means sharing minimal data and carefully thinking about retention.

Examples in integrations

• Aggregating consumption data to 15-minute or hourly buckets instead of raw per-second data.
• Anonymising or pseudonymising customer IDs in test and demo environments.
• Not exposing sensitive metadata in webhooks (such as exact GPS location) unless required.

Retention and cleanup

• Automatically deleting or aggregating logs after a limited time.
• Regularly resetting test data in the sandbox.
