With Leafy Energy integrated into Homey, you can automate EV charging without manually tweaking apps. Flows can take departure time, price, and grid load into account.

Building blocks

• Leafy EV device exposing SOC and desired departure time.
• Leafy prices device with current and upcoming prices.
• A charge point or wallbox controllable from Homey.

Example flow

• When: Leafy signals the start of a cheap price block.
• And: SOC is below the target for the next trip.
• Then: Turn the charger on and optionally increase charging power.

This illustrates perfectly in demos that EV charging becomes a “no-brainer”, handled automatically within the limits configured by the driver.
