With solar panels you add an extra dimension to Leafy Energy: you are both a consumer and a producer. Your profile takes advantage of this to provide targeted tips.

1. Shift usage into sunny hours

• Run the washing machine, dishwasher, and boiler primarily when your panels are producing well.
• The charts clearly show how much of your consumption is covered by “own sun”.

2. Use surplus generation for EV or battery

• During very low or negative prices combined with high generation, it may pay off to store extra energy.
• Leafy Energy might suggest: “prepare an EV charging session, your panels are overperforming”.

3. Realistic view on feed-in credits

• The system can incorporate a phased reduction of net metering (in the demo: a fictional scenario).
• You’ll receive tips to gradually consume more of your own generation directly instead of feeding it back.

In demos, compare a solar profile with a non-solar profile to highlight the different graphs, KPIs, and advice.
